In my room, in a corner, I have a map of people I know, with lines drawn to other people I know, with more lines connected to people they know who know people I know. Half of these people don’t know each other, but they have a line connecting them to someone else who knows them, who knows their friend, who knows their ex, who knows the first person.
Universal Divinity
Throughout my childhood, I’ve consumed a lot of fictional media involving mythology- whether that means explanations of godly pantheons, modern retellings of ancient fables and legends, or breathtaking combinations of both. I’ve read Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which I still fondly look back on because of how much writing inspiration it’s given me.
Final Chapters
My Junior year ends in less than a month. I imagine my graduation cap weighing me down as I shuffle across a stage. I can’t stand the thought of having regrets but my head is full of them.

When I realized the brink of adulthood was approaching, the first thing I wanted to do was buy a cupcake.It wouldn’t be hard, in my current living arrangement.
